Use a dedicated tool – a spring bar tool or small screwdriver – to depress the pin on one side and slide it free from the lug. Once both pins are free, the original strap detaches. The new strap is inserted by sliding the pin into the lug, pushing until the click engages. The operation requires 2-3 minutes and no technical skill.
