The lug width is exactly 21.00 mm. This specification is unique to the SeaQ and requires dedicated straps, as it falls outside standard market parameters (18, 20, 22 mm). The lug-to-lug distance is 52 mm. We recommend verifying measurements before purchasing any aftermarket strap.

The ideal strap depends on intended use: for daily elegance, black alligator or vegetable-tanned calf in cognac tones; for full diving capability, black FKM rubber with stainless deployante; for sports versatility, grey or black NATO. Alligator develops a patina that ages with dignity, whilst vegetable-tanned calf develops a rich brown patina over time. All require 21 mm lug width.

Strap removal requires a spring bar tool. Position the tool beneath the lug pin, press gently to compress the internal spring, then extract the pin. Repeat for the opposite lug. Install the new strap by reversing the procedure. The operation requires no specialised tools, but careful handling is recommended to avoid scratching the ceramic and stainless steel case.
