Alligator emphasises the case's aesthetic purity, whilst shell cordovan offers a patina that evolves naturally over time. For daily sport wear, an anthracite grey NATO or FKM rubber strap represents practical alternatives.

Use a professional strap removal tool: insert the flat tip beneath one of the spring bars and apply gentle upward pressure to release the strap from the lug. Repeat on the other side. To install the new 20mm strap, insert the spring bars into the lateral holes of the case and ensure the strap is securely seated before fastening.
