Strap for DA 36

The DA36 features a 20-millimetre lug width. This measurement is determined by calculating the internal distance between the two metal pins that retain the strap. The optimal choice depends on application: for professional environments, vegetable-tanned calf leather in brown or black offers restrained aesthetics and structural durability. For marine or extreme-temperature conditions, FKM rubber straps maintain consistent dimensional tolerance. Position the watch on a flat, stable surface. Use a spring bar tool, inserting the tip into the small slot beneath each lug pin. Apply moderate inward pressure on the case to release the pin, then withdraw the worn strap. Repeat on the opposite side. For installation, align the new strap holes with the pins, insert the pin first from one side using the spring bar tool, then secure from the opposite side with balanced pressure until an audible click is perceptible.

Any strap manufactured with 20mm±0.3mm lug width tolerance is fully compatible with the DA36.
