Strap for Bravur Team Heritage PEU

The lug width of the Bravur Team Heritage PEU is 18mm. This is the linear distance between the two attachment points on the case and determines compatibility with aftermarket straps. All 18mm straps can be mounted on this model without any adaptation.

The choice depends on intended use and personal style. For understated elegance, we recommend aniline leather in brown or burgundy with vegetable tanning; for sports and humidity resistance, Croslite rubber straps; for versatility, textile NATO straps in herringbone weaves. The Team Heritage PEU favours noble materials that develop natural patina over time.

To change the strap, you need specific tools: a spring bar tool or soft plastic stick. Position the watch face down, locate one of the two lateral spring bars, gently compress the internal spring and extract it towards you, then mount the new strap by repeating the procedure on the other side. Slow movements prevent case damage.

Any strap with an 18mm lug width is compatible with the Team Heritage PEU, provided it has quality lugs and buckle. The aftermarket offers straps in alligator, shell cordovan, vegetable-tanned calf, technical rubber, NATO fabric and suede leather. Compatibility is guaranteed solely by lug width, regardless of brand, colour or material.

A quality full-grain leather strap, with proper maintenance, lasts approximately 3-5 years before requiring replacement. Durability depends on frequency of use, exposure to moisture and perspiration, and preventive treatment (protective waxes). Vegetable-tanned leather tends to last longer than industrial aniline, developing patina rather than deterioration.
