Selected leathers
A single piece of leather. No joins, no hidden weak spots under the watch case. The single pass design eliminates the traditional double structure: the strap passes entirely through the watch lugs, wrapping around the wrist in a single continuous strip of hammered calfskin.
The hammered finish is not decorative — it irregularly etches the leather surface, providing visual depth and a tactile grip that smooth calfskin does not offer. The red chosen here makes no compromises: it is a bold color, to be worn with conviction.
A contained thickness of 2.5mm allows the strap to remain flat under any type of bezel. Italian craftsmanship, with the attention to detail that distinguishes a strap made to last from one made to merely look that way.

A texture that hides daily life.
The hammered finish breaks the surface into countless facets: micro-scratches disappear into the pattern instead of showing. Tough leather, for those who live with their strap without a second thought.

Frequently Asked Questions
I have a doubt: with the single pass, how do I take the watch off? I never feel comfortable with these straps that pass through only once.
That’s the right question. The single pass isn’t for everyone, it depends on how you think about the watch. Here the strap enters from one side of the case, wraps around the wrist, and exits from the other side. It’s not a three-second rush like with a classic strap, but it’s not a battle either. Once you understand the gesture, it becomes automatic. If you’re used to constantly opening and closing, perhaps this isn’t for you. If instead you put it on and take it off once a day, it’s not a problem.
Does this hammered calf hold its shape or after six months does it look like a rag? I want to understand how it really ages.
The hammered finish is not a decoration — it’s engraved into the fibre of the leather. It doesn’t disappear. What happens is that the strap develops a natural patina over time, the colour evolves, and the creases that follow your wear become part of its story. At 2.5mm thick, the calf doesn’t go limp: it retains structural rigidity. Like all things made properly, the single pass doesn’t “look new” after a year, but it doesn’t degrade. It changes.
How critical is the 2.5mm thickness? Can I wear it under a tight lug clearance without visible creases forming?
The reduced thickness is precisely the point. At 2.5mm the strap lies flat even under closed lugs. I cannot guarantee a surgical result if your lug clearance is down to the millimetre, but the profile has been designed not to create visible bulges. If you wear watches with normal cases, you won’t have any surprises.
I have a thick wrist (around 22-23cm), which combination do you recommend? I don’t want to expose my wrist when I slip it on.
Here you have to work with what we have available for this colourway. The lengths range from 20 to 24cm. At 22-23cm it’s best to go for a 24cm length to stay comfortable — the single pass doesn’t offer the adjustment margin of a traditional strap. As for the width: it depends on the lug width of your case. Which watch is it?
Is the red really red or is it one of those “reds” that turns into dark brown on the wrist?
It’s clean red, no compromises — that’s the warning in the product description. It’s not brick, it’s not diluted terracotta. If you’re looking for an ambiguous colour that goes with everything, this isn’t it. It’s to be worn with conviction, as stated. Naturally every hide has its own variations — calf isn’t printed in series — but the chromatic direction is that.
