Saffiano doesn't demand attention — it commands it. The cross-hatch texture reflects light geometrically, precisely, and recognizably even from a distance. In orange, it becomes a declared choice: not a neutral accessory, but a statement on the wrist.
Italian saffiano leather is processed with roller pressing that defines its character: scratch-resistant, compact, with a firm feel that doesn't soften over time but rather matures consistently. It's the same logic as Milanese work leather goods — function and form that don't contradict each other.
The reduced dimensions — lug 16mm/14mm and 18mm/16mm — make it suitable for compact cases, women's watches, or graphic accents on slender wrists. The 2.1mm thickness ensures a flat fit under the cuff, without unnecessary bulk.
Each strap is produced in Italy. Tonal variations between individual pieces are inherent to the leather: not defects, but character.

Does the saffiano texture tend to wear at the flex points, where the strap bends around the wrist?
The roller embossing that defines the saffiano pattern penetrates deeply into the leather; it is not a surface finish. At flex points the texture remains intact longer than a polished smooth leather. Over time a natural crease may form, but the crosshatch structure distributes it uniformly, without visible creasing.
Is this strap available in both 16mm and 18mm sizes, or must I choose a specific variant?
The two sizes—16mm with 14mm lug width and 18mm with 16mm lug width—are distinct variants of the same model. At checkout you must select the correct width based on your watch lugs. If you’re uncertain about size, the safest method is to verify with calipers the internal distance between the lugs.
Does the orange color match the images faithfully, or are there significant variations between samples?
saffiano is natural leather: each hide reacts to dye slightly differently, and color rendering can vary between a more saturated orange and a warmer terracotta tone. The images represent an average of the batch, not an exact sample. It is part of the character of the material, not a production flaw.
What type of buckle is included, and is the strap compatible with a deployant clasp?
The strap comes with a standard pin buckle, consistent with the lug width (14mm or 16mm depending on the variant). Given the reduced thickness—2.1mm—it is technically compatible with small-format flat deployant clasps, provided the deployant is sized to the lug width and not to the strap width.
