Vegetable-tanned calf leather is the choice that best respects the German constructive philosophy of the model, as it develops natural patina over time. For pure technical use, a cotton ballistic NATO or vulcanised rubber offers superior practical reliability.

The procedure is straightforward: identify the lateral attachment pins on the case (the two small vertical protrusions 20mm apart). Use a dedicated removal tool or a slightly conical iron punch to push from the rear outward, extracting the pin. Insert the new strap by aligning the holes with the pins and repeat from the opposite side.
