Single pass. No double loop. The single pass design reduces the profile under the wrist and changes how the strap interacts with the case — less bulk, more presence.
Hammered calfskin is a process that transforms the leather surface: manual hammering creates an irregular and vibrant texture that catches the light differently with every wrist movement. It's not a decorative finish — it's a statement of character. The pastel pink on this raised grain gains a depth that smooth leather could not achieve.
Reduced thickness to 2.5mm: the strap remains flat under cuffs, not stiffening the posture. The adjustable buckle ensures a precise fit without compromising comfort throughout the day.
Each piece of leather is different from the other. Variations in tone between one sample and the next are not defects — they are proof that no two straps are identical.

A texture that hides daily life.
The hammered finish breaks the surface into countless facets: micro-scratches disappear into the pattern instead of showing. Tough leather, for those who live with their strap without a second thought.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this single pass actually work? Won’t I end up with the leather folding awkwardly on my wrist?
No, it’s the opposite. A single pass reduces the total mass beneath the wrist — the leather doesn’t overlap on itself as it does in double-loop straps. The result is a flatter, less rigid profile. The strap dialogues differently with the watch case because it lacks that double structure that adds weight. It changes the way you feel the watch on you throughout the day.
I like the hammered finish, but won’t it become smooth after a few months of use and lose that texture?
The manual hammering that creates the martellato is a physical transformation of the leather fibre — it is not a surface-applied finish. Over time the leather naturally acquires a patina of use and the areas of greatest contact will console themselves, but the structure of the hammering remains. It is like the difference between painting and carving: it does not disappear.
What thickness is it? I want a strap that sits well under my cuffs without adding bulk.
2.5mm. It is deliberately contained for this reason — the strap stays flat under the cuffs without stiffening one’s bearing. It is not extremely thin, but neither is it one of those straps that creates a visible bulge.
Can you tell me what the right length is for me? My wrist is about 16 centimetres.
It depends on how you usually wear the strap — higher or lower on the wrist — and on how much space you want between the buckle and the leather. The lengths available are 20, 22 and 24 centimetres. With a 16-centimetre wrist, the 20 would be tight, the 22 could be the minimum workable size, and the 24 would give you more adjustment margin. The lug width also matters — have you decided on that?
I see that every hide is different. If I order the pink, do you guarantee a specific colour or do I have to wait for a surprise?
It’s not a negative surprise — it is guaranteed to be pastel pink on martellato, but variations in tone between one example and another are normal and real. No two pieces are identical because leather is a living material and the hand-hammering reacts differently to each individual piece. If the pink needs to harmonise with a specific watch, it’s better that you tell us so we can reason together about the choice.
