Set of two spring bars for Rolex Submariner 16613 blind lugs version, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between lugs. Pin 1.5mm. Blind lugs. The 16613 is the steel-gold Submariner Date produced from 1988 to 2009 — blind lugs version for the 2003-2009 productions, before the transition to the 116613 Maxi case.
The 16613 follows the same scheme as the 16610: first phase drilled, second phase blind. The blind version arrives in 2003 with 1.5mm pin and sealed hole. Two-tone case with 18kt gold on the lugs and in the Oyster bracelet: but the pin remains steel. The 16613LB blue is the most sought-after version of this phase.

Do these spring bars work on the 16613 with drilled lugs (pre-2003) or only on the solid lug version?
Only on the solid lug version from 2003 onwards. The drilled 16613 uses 1.6mm pins; these are 1.5mm and won’t hold securely in the wider drilled lug holes. If you have a drilled model, you’ll need different spring bars.
Is the pin steel even if the case is two-tone gold-steel?
Yes, exactly. Rolex has always used steel pins even on two-tone 16613 models — the gold is only on the lugs and Oyster bracelet. These spring bars follow the same principle.
How much do they protrude from the lug once inserted? Risk of the bar showing under the strap?
With properly fitted 20mm straps there is no visibility. If you use old or oversized straps, the bar may protrude slightly from the edges — but this is normal on all solid lugs. It is not a technical issue.
Can I use them on other Submariners or are they exclusive to the solid lug 16613?
They are specific to the solid lug 16613 (2003-2009). Other Submariners with solid lugs (such as 14060M or late 5513) use different pins — best to verify your model before ordering.
