Set of two spring bars for Pearlmaster with 14mm lugs, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. References covered: 80285, 80298, 80299, 80315, 80318, 80319.
The Pearlmaster was born with an integrated bracelet in precious metal, and the lug hole is designed for that bracelet: the cavity requires a fuller pin than the standard 1.5. The 1.8mm fills the seat without forcing it — it is the difference between a strap that stays put and one that works against the gold of the case. And on gold, every bit of play leaves its mark.
When a Pearlmaster moves from bracelet to strap in the atelier, I fit a new spring bar. Always. This is the cost; a mark on the lug costs more.
