Set of two spring bars for Rolex Milgauss reference 116400, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin 1.5mm. Blind lugs. The 116400 is the modern Milgauss produced from 2007 to 2023 — the return of the antimagnetic line after a twenty-year hiatus, with lightning-bolt seconds hand and green GV crystal.
The 116400 closes the Milgauss circle in its modern iteration. 40mm case, blind lugs, 1.5mm pin — the standard specification of the Submariner 16610 from the same period. The green GV (Green Vintage) crystal of the 116400GV is one of its most recognisable elements. Discontinued in 2023, it is already worth more than its retail price.

Frequently asked questions
Are these spring bars suitable only for the 116400, or also for other Milgauss references?
They are sized for the 116400: 20mm lug width, 1.5mm pins, designed for closed lugs. If you have a different Milgauss reference, let me know which one and I'll check the size before recommending these.
What kind of steel is it, and does it hold up over time?
Tempered Swiss Standard steel. It's the same type of specification I use for Submariner 16610 watches from the same period: 1.5mm pins, designed for a secure fit on closed lugs.
What does it mean that the lugs are closed?
On the 116400, the lugs don't have a through-hole: the spring bars can only be fitted and removed with the right tool, not by hand. That's why precise 1.5mm pins are needed, not generic spring bars.
Are these the original Rolex spring bars or replacement ones?
These are replacement spring bars in Swiss Standard steel, not original Rolex parts. However, they match the exact measurements of the 116400: 20mm with 1.5mm pins.
Can I check the reference number on my watch before ordering?
Yes. On the 116400, the reference number is engraved between the lugs at 12 o'clock: check there, so we can be sure the 1.5mm pin is the right one for your watch.
