Handcrafted Straps
Spring bars Rolex Lady-Datejust 14mm — 1.5mm diameter
Set of two spring bars for modern Lady-Datejust, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 14mm between the lugs. Pin diameter: 1.5mm. Compatible with the current 28mm case: 279160, 279171, 279174, 279178 and the versions with precious bezel 279381RBR, 279383RBR, 279384RBR.
The small case is less forgiving. On 14mm, the play that goes unnoticed on a 20mm becomes a strap that rotates. The 1.5mm pin enters the closed lug hole and works under compression, without wobbling. It is the same spring bar as the larger Datejust, only shorter — and precisely for this reason it must be taken in the correct size, not adapted.
I replace them with every strap change. On a 28mm case the pin is small, and a small, tired pin only reveals itself once it has already failed.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.
Frequently asked questions
Which Lady-Datejust models do they fit?
On the current 28mm case: 279160, 279171, 279174, 279178, and the gem-set bezel versions 279381RBR, 279383RBR, 279384RBR. 14mm lugs, fixed.
Does the 1.5 mm pin fit snugly in the hole, without wobbling?
No. It sits inside the closed lug and works under compression. On a 28mm case it matters even more: at 14mm, the play you wouldn’t notice at 20 becomes a strap that rotates.
Can I use the spring bars from the large Datejust?
It’s the same bar, just shorter — and for this very reason it must be the correct size, not adapted.
How Often Should You Change Them?
I replace them at every strap change. On a 28mm case the pin is small, and a small, fatigued pin only shows itself once it has already given way.
What’s in the box?
