Set of two spring bars for Rolex GMT-Master II 16718 in yellow gold with closed lugs, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin 1.5mm. The 16718 is the gold GMT-Master II produced from 1989 to 2007, in the closed-lug variant for the final productions of the 2000s.
The 16718 has two phases: first series with drilled lugs (1989-2003), second series with closed lugs (2003-2007). This is the second: pin 1.5mm, sealed hole. On the leather strap one notices the difference — on the drilled 16718 it is removed with a direct pin pusher, on the closed-lug version only with a side fork tool.

Will these fit my GMT-Master II 16718?
It depends on the series. These are for the 16718 with blind lugs, second series, produced from 2003 to 2007. On the first series, with drilled lugs from 1989 to 2003, they will not fit: the recess and pin are different.
How do you remove them, given that the lugs are blind?
With a side fork, not a direct spring bar tool. On drilled lugs you push straight through the hole, on blind lugs the recess is sealed and you need to enter from the side.
What size are they and what pin do they have?
20mm between the lugs, 1.5mm pins. This size is designed for the 16718 with blind lugs, not for other references.
What material are they made of?
Hardened Swiss Standard steel. The same supplier I use for all the 16718 blind-lug bars I keep on hand.
