€12,95
Set of two spring bars for Rolex GMT-Master II reference 16713 blind lug version, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between lugs. Pin 1.5mm. Blind lugs. The 16713 is the steel-gold GMT-Master II produced from 1989 to 2007 — blind lug version for the 2003-2007 productions, two-tone sister of the 16710.
The 16713 follows the 16710 through the transitional phases. Blind version from 2003 with 1.5mm pin and sealed hole. Two-tone steel-18kt gold case, two-tone Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. The 16713CB (brown-black bezel) and standard 16713 are the most frequently seen pieces in the atelier on leather strap. The spring bars remain steel even with gold lugs.
Same spring bars on every clients’ 16713 blind lug.

Domande Frequenti
Are these spring bars suitable for the 16710 or only for the 16713?
Technically yes, because both use 1.5mm pins and the same 20mm lug width. However, be careful: the 16710 has open lugs until 2002, while the 16713 has solid lugs from 2003 onwards. If your 16710 is older with open lugs, these bars (solid) may not fit properly. Verify the lug type before ordering.
What’s the difference between 1.5mm pins and standard ones? Risk of damaging the case?
The 1.5mm is the diameter of the pin that enters the 16713 lugs. If you use bars with larger pins (1.6mm), you force the lug and risk permanent deformation or cracks. With undersized pins (1.4mm) the bracelet moves loosely. The correct size enters with natural resistance, without forcing.
How do I change these spring bars without the proper tool? Risk of damaging the lugs?
You need a specific spring bar tool with two tips designed for solid lugs: one tip enters the sealed slot and lifts gently. Without the proper tool you risk slipping and scratching the case or worse, cracking the lug. Don’t improvise with screwdrivers: the 16713 is two-tone, every scratch is visible.
Why do you sell two bars instead of four? A 16713 has four total..
Correct, a GMT has four lugs in total. We sell in sets of two because typically one lug wears out more than the other (the mobile one) and when replacing, most people change both on the same side. If you need four, order two sets. This way you’ll also have spares.
