The vintage Date 34 is the entry-level piece of the Rolex catalogue from the Sixties to the Eighties. Younger sister of the Datejust 36 but with the reliable calibre 1570, 34mm case, narrow 19mm drilled lugs. It was sold in millions of examples, and today it is one of the most collectible vintage Rolex watches at still accessible prices. The correct spring bars are 19mm × 1.8mm — essential on these narrow lugs.
