Set of two 19mm Omega spring bars for Speedmaster Professional, Seamaster Aqua Terra first series and other vintage Omega cases. Hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. The 19mm size is characteristic of the early pre-Moon Speedmaster and certain Seamaster models from the Sixties and Seventies, before the definitive transition to the 20mm standard.

On the early Speedmaster reference 105.003 (Ed White) and the first 105.012, the lug is 19mm, not 20mm. The same specification applies to certain transitional Seamaster De Ville and Constellation models. The 1.8mm Omega pin is the factory standard for these cases — different from the modern 1.5mm Rolex. For aftermarket straps on Pre-Moon Speedmaster or vintage 19mm Seamaster, these are the correct spring bars.

The same spring bars on every vintage 19mm Speedmaster and Seamaster in the atelier.

Domande Frequenti

Do these 19mm spring bars fit my modern Speedmaster Professional?

No, current Speedmaster Professional models have 20mm lugs. The 19mm is specific to vintage pre-Moon models (105.003, 105.012) and some Seamaster watches from the 1960s-1970s. If you’re unsure about your reference, measure the lug-to-lug distance: if it’s exactly 19mm, they will fit; otherwise you risk a loose bracelet.

Is the 1.8mm pin compatible with universal 19mm straps?

It depends on the strap. Many aftermarket 19mm straps use 1.5mm or 1.6mm pins. The 1.8mm Omega pin is the factory standard for those cases — if you fit a universal strap it may be slightly loose or difficult to install. Verify the pin diameter with the strap manufacturer.

Can I use these on a 2000s Seamaster Aqua Terra?

No, the modern Aqua Terra has 20mm lugs. Only early Seamaster Aqua Terra (1960s-1970s, before the standard change) uses 19mm. If your watch has a larger lug-to-lug distance, you need the 20mm set.

Are they tempered and resistant? How long do these pins last?

Yes, tempered Swiss Standard steel — they resist just like originals. Durability depends on how frequently you change straps: with normal use they last for years. If you use them continuously for frequent changes, the stress point remains the same and they may fail after 5-10 years; this is the physical limit of any thin metal pin.
