Saffiano is not just any texture. It is a grid pressed onto leather, which stiffens it, protects it, and gives it character. And when that grid meets red – not just any red, but a vibrant, saturated, decisive red – something happens that goes beyond a mere color combination: light fragments, color gains depth, and the surface becomes three-dimensional.
The ecru stitching is not a decorative detail. It is a focal point. It runs along the edges with sartorial precision, holding together the tension between the geometry of the weave and the vibrancy of the color. Without it, the red would dominate. With it, the match ends in a draw – and that is precisely where elegance is born.

Does saffiano soften with use?
Not much. The grain is pressed onto the leather under pressure, and that structure stays firm over time. This is intentional: it protects the surface and keeps its shape. Don't expect the soft feel of a smooth leather.
Does ecru stitching change colour with use?
Yes, it develops a patina. Dust, sweat, contact with skin: this is normal and part of the strap's character.
