Handmade in Italy Selected leathers

The pink of sunrises over the sea does not ask for permission. It is a shade that has already made up its mind, that knows its own weight on the wrist and needs no justification. This strap starts from that premise and does not turn back.

The technique is that of artisan workshops: stamping and hammering on full-grain leather, a process that returns a three-dimensional, lively surface, capable of capturing light in an unpredictable way. The pink is never exactly the same — it shifts between warmer and cooler tones depending on the time, the angle, the moment. The ecru stitching cuts the surface with precision: it doesn't decorate, it balances. It is the fixed point that holds together the audacity of the color and the solidity of Italian craftsmanship.

The full-grain leather is soft from the beginning. Over time it becomes something more — it acquires character, adapts, improves. The small variations you will notice between one example and another are not imperfections: they are the direct consequence of working with natural material. Each leather absorbs the dye in its own way. It is not reproducible. This is the point.

Frequently Asked Questions

I like the color, but I’m worried that the pink is too dominant. How does it change over time?

Pink isn’t a flat tint: even now it oscillates between warmer and cooler tones depending on light and angle. Over time, full-grain leather absorbs everything around it — sweat, light, movement — and the color patinas, settles, develops character. It doesn’t fade uniformly: some areas darken, others soften. That’s what happens when you work with natural material instead of resin. If you’re curious about aging, you should know every leather takes a slightly different path. It’s not a defect, it’s the reason it’s worth waiting for.

You have 18mm because that’s my lug width, but I’m wondering: if I change watches in the future, can you restyle the strap for me?

We haven’t declared reworking services. If you’re thinking of using this strap on different watches over time, the honest answer is you need to check with us case by case when the moment comes. The hammer work and leather structure may have limits on how much can be modified without compromising what we’ve done. Contact us directly with your future projects: we don’t want to give you a generic answer that won’t hold up later.

You say it’s full-grain leather and soft right away. Will I have stiffness issues in the first few days?

No, that’s not the situation here. The full-grain calf leather we use is already soft to the touch when it arrives — it’s not cardboard you need to soften for two weeks. What changes isn’t the initial stiffness, but rather how the leather adapts to your wrist. It takes shape on your watch, breathes with your movements, develops creases that are yours and yours alone. The ‘improvement’ is more a matter of personalization than annoying break-in.

If every leather is different and not reproducible, how do I know what mine will really look like when I receive it?

Exactly: you don’t. You can see photos, you can read that it’s hammered pink with ecru stitching, but your specific piece will have absorbed the dye in its own way during processing. Variations between one strap and another aren’t imperfections we tolerated — they’re proof we used real full-grain calf, not a standardized product. If you’re looking for pixel-perfect reproducibility, that’s not what we do. If you’re looking for something that’s unique and you won’t see on someone else’s wrist, that’s exactly the point.

What about the ecru stitching? How is it made? Is it as durable as the rest or is it more fragile aesthetically?

The ecru stitching is handcrafted, hand-stitched, and its role isn’t decorative — it cuts through the surface to balance the boldness of the pink color. On durability: we’ve stated that it’s handcrafted, but we haven’t given you numbers on resistance or specs on the thread used. What I can tell you is that these aren’t surface details added for beauty, they’re built as a structural anchor point. If you want to know exactly which thread type we use and how much load they can take, that’s a question for our team directly.
