The material is 100% recycled polyester, produced in Italy. This isn't a marketing detail: it affects the final texture, the color retention over time, and the controlled rigidity that distinguishes a serious military strap from just any other. The 316L stainless steel buckle and loops complete the picture—no compromises on durability where it matters most.

Returns and exchanges

Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use
Frequently asked questions
Can I get it wet without ruining it?
Yes. This is an eco friendly strap: the material is Newlife® recycled polyester, made from plastic bottles, with a Made in Italy supply chain. It withstands water without any issues.
What sizes are available?
20 mm and 22 mm. The buckle is made of stainless steel in both sizes.
Does the buckle rust?
No. The buckle and keepers are made of 316L stainless steel, designed to resist rust.
Is it suitable for a sports watch?
Yes. The 20 mm and 22 mm sizes cover most sports watches and field watches.
How thick and long is the strap?
1.5 mm thick, with a total length of 27 cm. A dense weave, not a thin, flimsy piece of fabric.
