A unique piece — in the literal sense. The single-pass design eliminates the excess fabric, lowers the profile on the wrist, and places the buckle exactly where it should be: centered, under the wrist, out of sight.
The material is 100% recycled polyester. It's not a compromise: it's a deliberate choice. The tactile feel is consistent, the hold is reliable, and the gray color with an orange accent creates an effortless point of contrast — discreet enough not to bother, present enough to be noticed.
Compared to a classic NATO strap, the single-pass has a structural advantage: if a spring bar fails, the strap still retains the watch. This is not a minor detail for those who wear a timepiece every day.
The buckle and keepers are made of 316L stainless steel — the same used in watchmaking for its corrosion resistance. Handmade in Italy.

WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use

Can I get it wet without any issues?
Yes, this strap is eco friendly: you can get it wet without worry. The material is Newlife® recycled polyester, made from plastic bottles, with a Made in Italy supply chain.
What sizes are available?
I have this NATO in 20mm and 22mm. You choose based on your watch's lug width.
What material is the buckle made of?
The buckle and keepers are made of 316L stainless steel. It's the same steel I use for certain watches, and it resists corrosion well.
What advantage does the single pass offer over a classic NATO?
There's no fabric tail: the profile stays low on the wrist and the buckle sits centred, underneath the wrist. Should a spring bar ever fail, the watch is still held in place by the strap.
How long and thick is this strap?
27 centimetres in total length, 1.5 millimetres thick. A slim profile, designed to sit low on the wrist.
