A unique piece — in the literal sense. The single-pass design eliminates the excess fabric, lowers the profile on the wrist, and places the buckle exactly where it should be: centered, under the wrist, out of sight.
The material is 100% recycled polyester. It's not a compromise: it's a deliberate choice. The tactile feel is consistent, the hold is reliable, and the gray color with an orange accent creates an effortless point of contrast — discreet enough not to bother, present enough to be noticed.
Compared to a classic NATO strap, the single-pass has a structural advantage: if a spring bar fails, the strap still retains the watch. This is not a minor detail for those who wear a timepiece every day.
The buckle and keepers are made of 316L stainless steel — the same used in watchmaking for its corrosion resistance. Handmade in Italy.

Milano Straps, always sensitive to the issue of sustainability and the ways in which a luxury product should be produced and distributed, has decided, in its small way, to contribute to the growth of an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
Recently launched, the MSLabStraps line is a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
From one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, non-chemical recycling process that is 100% Made in Italy certified throughout its fully traceable supply chain, the plastic from the bottles is shredded and transformed into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
The production of 1 kg of Newlife®, for the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a reduction in energy consumption of 60%, CO2 emissions of 32%, and water consumption of 94%.

Does single pass really mean that if a spring bar breaks I won’t lose the watch?
Exactly. In the classic two-pass NATO, if a spring bar gives way the watch falls. Here the nylon passes only once around the wrist and closes upon itself — the buckle stays secure, the strap retains the watch. It is structural safety, not theoretical. Those who wear it daily feel the difference.
Is it really recycled polyester or one of those green labels that change nothing?
It is 100% recycled polyester, not a blend. It is not a compromise on hold or tactility — the performance is uniform and reliable. How discreet is this orange really, or is it a colour that shouts?
Grey is the dominant colour. Orange is an accent — present just enough to be noticed by those who look, but not intrusive. It does not disturb a neutral outfit, yet it does not disappear either if you seek it out. It depends on how much you want the strap to speak or remain silent on your wrist.
Is 316L steel the same used in watches, or is it just talk?
Yes, it is the same steel as watch cases — corrosion resistance and durability over time. Buckle and keepers are made of the same material. There is no weak point of degradation on the metal component.
27cm total — how do I calculate this to know if it will fit me?
It is the total length of the assembled strap. On a watch with 20mm lug width, it gives you the room to wear it comfortably and have the buckle hole well positioned beneath the wrist. If you have particularly wide or narrow wrists, this is the figure to discuss with whoever sells it to you in order to verify the fit on your specific watch.
