Twenty-seven centimeters of 100% recycled polyester. It's not a compromise: it's a precise choice, made in an Italian laboratory that knows the difference between a built strap and an assembled one.
Military style isn't born to please — it's born to resist. This strap carries that same logic: flat structure, fixed loops, 316L stainless steel buckle that won't rust or give way. The brown color with ecru edges introduces a sober visual tension, recognizable without being flashy. It works on a vintage field watch as well as on a contemporary automatic.
The material is derived from certified recycled yarns, processed with the same attention reserved for quality technical fabrics. The contained thickness — 1.5mm — makes it one of the most versatile straps for those who wear their watch all day long, without feeling it.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use
Frequently asked questions
Can I get it wet without any issues?
Yes, it is designed specifically for that. The material is Newlife recycled polyester, made from recycled plastic bottles, with a Made in Italy supply chain. Water, sweat, rain: none of these will damage it.
What sizes are available for purchase?
20mm and 22mm. Check your watch's lug width and choose the corresponding size.
Does the buckle wear out with daily use?
No. The buckle and keepers are made of 316L stainless steel. It doesn't rust and won't deteriorate over time.
Does it look good on a vintage watch or only on modern models?
It works on both. The flat construction and the brown with ecru edges suit a vintage field watch just as well as a contemporary automatic.
Can I get traditional spring bars instead of the quick release?
Yes, this can be made to order. Same price, about a week's wait. Please let me know which strap size you need, 20mm or 22mm.
