Handmade Straps
Blue Recycled Nylon Single Pass Military Strap
€52,00
A 100% recycled polyester strap is not a concession—it's a conscious choice. The military blue of this Single Pass doesn't scream: it declares an belonging, that of those who look at watchmaking without ignoring the rest.
The single-pass design solves two problems in one: it eliminates the free tail that bunches up under the wrist and lowers the watch's profile compared to a classic NATO. The buckle remains centered under the wrist, the strap adjusts along its entire length, and the one-piece structure offers additional security—if a spring bar were to fail, the watch remains on the wrist.
Built in Italy with a 316L stainless steel buckle and loops, it resists humidity without losing its shape. Suitable for any case with lugs between 20 and 22mm—from the everyday field watch to the weekend diver.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

ARTIGIANATO ITALIANO
Manifattura Milanese

But if I use the single pass, how do I adjust the length during the day? Do I always need the same hole?
No, that’s the advantage: the strap adjusts along its entire length thanks to the sliding keeper. You’re not locked into fixed holes like a classic NATO. You pull, loosen, find the right tension at the moment — it’s more versatile, especially if you wear the watch over different shirts or when your wrist changes during the day.
Let’s start with the fact that 27cm is the total length — how much actual wearing space do I have left? Is there room for large wrists?
The total length is 27cm, but the sliding keeper lets you adjust along the entire development. I can’t give you a precise range measurement because it depends on how you wear it, but single pass is generally more efficient than a double NATO: it eliminates the useless tail under the wrist, so it uses the available length better. If you have an XL wrist, it’s a question worth asking directly — our team in Milan knows who we’re talking about.
Does 316L steel resist pool chlorine or salt water? I always end up removing the strap when I go to the sea.
316L steel is stainless and resists moisture without losing shape — it won’t rust. But when I talk about moisture resistance I mean daily use, sweat, rain, splashes. For prolonged immersion in chlorine or salt water, the most sensible thing is to take it off and rinse it after. It’s not a weakness of the strap: it’s practical sense with any metal accessory.
If a spring bar fails on me, does the watch really stay attached to the single pass strap?
Yes. The monoblock structure works like this: the strap doesn’t depend on two separate spring bars like a classic NATO. If one failed, the watch would be held by the geometry of the keeper. It’s concrete additional security, not theoretical — what you see is what works.
But how does 100% recycled polyester behave after months? Does it degrade, become friable, lose the blue?
It’s a fair question. I know that recycled nylon maintains its shape and resists moisture — it’s made in Italy with attention to detail. As for color progression and aging over time, that’s a conversation you deserve to have directly: I don’t want to give you an invented answer. What I can tell you is that it was designed as a strap for real, daily use, not for a museum.
