No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The attachment is proprietary, designed by Audemars Piguet as part of the octagonal geometry. Changing the strap requires a bespoke construction, built on the physical watch itself.

I work on this model exclusively through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, my atelier at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan, by appointment only. I bring the watch to the bench, study every millimetre of the attachment and shape the strap directly on the case. There are no standard measurements to start from: each piece is built from scratch.

For a white gold case with this kind of sport-architectural character, I prefer natural, matte-finish Mississippi alligator. Its texture speaks to the Tapisserie without competing with it, and over time it develops a patina that tells the story of wear. Naturally aged Barenia is my second choice: supple, serious, suited to any context.

A strap built from first-grade leather with solid stitching easily lasts five to eight years of daily wear — sometimes more. Care is straightforward: keep it away from prolonged water exposure and let it breathe. Alligator and Barenia do not show age poorly; they show it well, developing character rather than deteriorating.

The octagonal case designed by Gérald Genta follows a precise curve as it meets the wrist: the integrated bracelet is part of that line. Breaking that continuity with a poorly proportioned strap disrupts the entire visual reading of the watch. This is why every strap I build for this model begins with a study of the transition between case and attachment — not with a measurement in millimetres.
