The El Primero was developed by Zenith in 1969 as the first automatic high-frequency chronograph movement. This reference houses the El Primero caliber 4061 with column-wheel, hours, minutes, small seconds and chronograph function. The movement operates with a column-wheel system for the control of the chronograph functions.
