The El Primero was developed by Zenith in 1969 as one of the first automatic chronograph movements. The reference 24.2160.4068/21.R573 mounts the El Primero 4068 caliber with functions of hours, minutes, small seconds, big date and column-wheel chronograph. The movement utilizes a column-wheel system for the chronograph functions control.
