The El Primero was introduced by Zenith in 1969 as the first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement. It features the El Primero 4054 caliber with column-wheel chronograph functions, annual calendar with day and month indication, as well as hours, minutes, small seconds and date. The reference 18.2070.4054/02.C711 represents a contemporary version of this historic movement.
