The El Primero was introduced by Zenith in 1969 as the first automatic high-frequency chronograph movement. It is powered by the El Primero 3604 caliber with a column-wheel chronograph mechanism. It features indication of hours, minutes, small seconds and chronograph with a column-wheel mechanism.
