The Zenith El Primero was introduced in 1969 as the first automatic high-frequency chronograph movement. It features the El Primero Caliber 4047 with hours, minutes, small seconds, date, column-wheel chronograph and moon phases. The movement operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
