Strap replacement requires a specialised tool: the spring bar tool. Insert the tool tip into one of the lug holes to compress the spring bar slightly, then slide the bar out of its seat. Repeat on the opposite side. Insert the new bar through the lugs of the new strap, maintaining compression with the spring bar tool, and allow the bar to click into the housings. The procedure is reversible and takes seconds.
