The measurement is verified by placing a calliper between the attachment pins, measuring from the centre of one pin to the other.

The most suitable strap depends on intended use: alligator leather in dark grey or navy offers elegance in formal settings; a robust canvas NATO is pragmatic and waterproof; a technical rubber strap ensures constant grip underwater. Shell cordovan with vegetable tanning develops a captivating patina over time and is excellent for those who appreciate natural leather ageing.

Strap replacement is performed by removing the attachment pins using a spring bar tool. Position the tool from the bottom of the pin and lift gently until the spring releases, then extract the pin and replace the strap. Ensure the pins click firmly into position on the new strap. Never force the pins as they may deform.
