Strap for P3/01 Micah's Voice

The lug width of the P3/01-Micahs-Voice is 28 millimetres. This measurement is critical to ensure the strap fits perfectly into the case lugs. Measuring is straightforward: use a calliper to measure the internal distance between the two case attachments. A strap of different width will not be compatible and will not respect the aesthetic balance of the model.

The best strap depends on use and personal preference. For a sophisticated and classical approach, alligator with vegetable tanning offers a patina that ages with character. For those wishing to emphasise the industrial aesthetic, a NATO-style fabric strap or vulcanised rubber strap represent conscious choices. Cognac brown calf leather creates a warm dialogue with the case steel. All must respect the 28mm lug width.

To change the strap, access the case lugs. Use a dedicated tool (spring bar tool) to release the tension spring that holds the strap. Insert the tool into the lug groove, push outward to compress the spring, and the strap will loosen. Once removed, insert the new strap ensuring the lug width is 28mm, then release the spring by clicking the new strap into position.

Any strap with a 28mm lug width is compatible with the P3/01-Micahs-Voice.
