The lug width is 16mm. This non-standard measurement requires purpose-designed straps: 14mm, 15mm, 17mm or larger widths are not compatible. Always measure perpendicularly between the two spring bar holes to verify exact conformity.

Selection depends on context. For formal wear: alligator or shell cordovan with vegetable tanning, which develop visible patina over time. For daily use: pull-up calf leather with fine grain. For sporting versatility: NATO in heavy cotton or Cordura nylon. For extreme durability: structured FKM rubber.

Use a spring bar tool or dedicated extractor. Place the watch on a soft surface. Insert the tool into the small hole beneath the lug, push the spring inward to release the pin. Extract gently. Repeat on the opposite lug. Insert the new strap by aligning the pins with the holes and releasing the spring mechanism.
