For a titanium diver of this calibre, we recommend Tuscan leather with vegetable tanning, which combines water resistance with natural patina development over time. For recreational diving, a vulcanised FKM rubber strap offers absolute impermeability and flexibility at low temperatures. For elegant daily wear, crocodile leather with a waxed finish maintains elasticity even with prolonged humidity exposure.

Straps are attached via lateral spring bar pins passing through the lugs. Use a spring bar tool to gently compress the pin, facilitating extraction. Align the new strap's holes with the lugs and reinsert the pin until you feel the locking click. Verify there is no gap between strap and lug before wearing the watch.

All straps with 24mm lug width are compatible: vegetable-tanned leather, crocodile, shell cordovan, NATO fabric, vulcanised rubber, and stainless steel deployante bracelets. Ensure the strap is manufactured for 24mm lug width; do not use 22mm or 26mm straps, as these cause looseness or strain on the lugs.

A vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather strap typically lasts 3–4 years of daily wear, with strap changes every 18 months for frequent diving. If exposed to direct sunlight, salt water, and persistent sweat without regular drying, durability drops to 18–24 months. Well-maintained crocodile leather can last 5–7 years. Rubber and NATO straps offer durability exceeding 10 years if not exposed to persistent sunscreen oils.
