You can verify manually by measuring the distance between the two spring bars protruding from the case sides.

The choice depends on intended use: for formal wear, an alligator in petrol blue or black, or shell cordovan leather offers uncompromised elegance. For daily wear, vegetable-tanned calf in tobacco brown or cognac is ideal. For actual underwater use, a NATO nylon ripstop strap or vulcanised rubber provides salt water resistance and wet grip.

Strap replacement requires a simple tool: a nail punch or spring bar tool. Insert the tool into the small hole beside the spring bar and push towards the case centre to release the pin, then withdraw it. Repeat for the other pin. Insert the new strap by aligning the pins with the lugs and press until they click into place. The procedure is reversible and requires no specialist skills.
