For the Aquis 36.5mm, we recommend an alligator leather with fine grain (Magnani or Nile) in cognac or aged brown, as it respects the refined proportions of the case without adding visual weight. Alternatively, shell cordovan with vegetable tanning offers a patina that evolves over time. For sporty contexts, a nylon NATO or natural rubber strap provides durability and practicality.

The strap is replaced using a dedicated spring bar tool. Position the tool in the spring bar's slot near the case lug, apply gentle pressure to release the internal spring, then extract the spring bar and strap. Insert the new strap onto the spring bar, realign it in the case lugs, and verify that the closure is firmly locked in place.

Any strap with an 18mm lug width is compatible with the Oris Aquis 01 733 7731 4156-07 3 18 01FC. We recommend verifying the measurement by inserting a digital calliper between the two lugs.
