The lug width is 24mm. This measurement represents the physical distance between the two internal shoulders of the case, determining compatibility with aftermarket straps. All straps designed for 24mm width will fit the 01 733 7730 4135-07 8 24 05PEB correctly without structural play.

The choice depends on usage: for formal elegance, an alligator or vegetable-tanned calf leather strap. For daily versatility, a NATO in grey or navy textile. For aquatic environments, a fluoroelastic rubber strap with stainless steel deployante. The Aquis accommodates all stylistic variations thanks to its neutral architecture.

Remove the original strap using a spring bar tool, inserting the small lever into the lateral vents beneath each lug. Press gently to compress the internal pin and extract the strap. Insert the new strap by aligning the same vents and allow the spring pin to reposition naturally. Verify that the strap is fully locked before wearing.

The Oris warranty remains valid for the movement and case. Using certified quality aftermarket straps does not prejudice coverage of the Oris 733 calibre or the ceramic and steel structure. It is advisable to retain the original strap for potential future resale considerations.

An alligator or vegetable-tanned calf strap, worn daily without prolonged exposure to salt water, lasts 18–36 months before visible wear appears. Longevity increases if limited to formal contexts. Regular exposure to chlorine or seawater reduces service life. Regular maintenance with hydrating creams extends durability.
