Strap for Aquis Date 43 DLC / Black / Rubber

The lug width of this Aquis model is 20mm. This measurement is determined by positioning a calliper from the inside of one lug to the inside of the opposite lug, excluding any elastomeric gasket or spring retainer. The 20mm dimension is the standard specification for the Aquis family in this case configuration.

The choice depends on intended use: for frequent diving, an FKM rubber strap with structured surface offers superior grip and rapid drying. For formal contexts, vegetable-tanned alligator in dark tones (tobacco, black) delivers elegance without compromising robustness. A nylon ballistic NATO in blue or military green is ideal for sport-to-casual rotation, whilst a Taurillon calf in navy amplifies aquatic identity.

The Aquis 01 733 7653 4722-07 4 26 34BEB features standard lug attachment with removable bars. To replace the strap: (1) position the watch on a soft surface; (2) use a spring-bar tool or small plastic lever to gently lift one of the metal bar passants; (3) slide the bar clear of the case; (4) align the new strap with the lugs and reinsert the bar. The operation is fully reversible and takes under 3 minutes.

Any artisanal strap with a 20mm lug width is compatible, provided the passant thickness matches the standard bar specification (typically 1.8–2mm). NATO or rubber straps offer longer cycles (up to 7–10 years) but require periodic cleaning and drying after water contact.
