Selection depends on intended use and aesthetic preference: alligator in brown or black emphasizes the tool-watch character of the satin-finished case; vegetable-tanned calf develops a natural patina over time; NATO nylon echoes the functional heritage; rubber straps provide maximum practicality and water resistance. All must respect the 20mm lug width and specific passant design.

The strap is changed using spring bars—small spring-loaded rods housed within the lugs. Use a spring bar tool (a small forked key) to gently extract the bar from one side, slide the old strap away, and insert the new strap before reinserting the bar. Avoid excessive pressure that could damage the stainless steel lugs.
