It is a continuous strip of leather that enters from one lug of the watch, passes behind the wrist, and exits from the other lug. There is no joint in the middle because the leather never breaks. It closes upon itself rather than two halves overlapping. The practical consequence is no rivets, no junction stitching, no weak points. On the wrist it functions like any strap, except the profile remains flat and comfort is immediate — it does not require breaking in.
How resistant is this hammered calf really? I need a strap that will not fall apart if I wear it constantly.

We offer 6 widths (from 14mm to 20mm) and 3 lengths (20cm, 22cm, 24cm). Not all combinations are available, however — each lug width has its specific lengths. The best approach is to start from your watch’s lug width and then identify which length suits you. If you are uncertain, it is preferable to enquire directly about that specific combination.
Military green is what I need, but I am concerned about the colour. Are all straps in the same shade identical?
No. Each leather possesses its own natural specificity, so tones can vary slightly from piece to piece. Military green does not change in concept, but you may receive two straps with a slight difference. If precise colour is critical for you, it is worth discussing before ordering.
Do I need to do anything special when I receive it? Such as oil it, condition it, wait for it to soften?
No. The single pass does not require breaking in. The thickness is contained at 2.5mm, the profile is flat, and comfort is immediate from the first wearing. You may use it straight away. Naturally, like any leather, it benefits from sensible maintenance over time, but there is no mandatory protocol before wearing it.
