The lug width of the MG-001122 is 18 millimetres, measured between the two internal lugs that attach the strap to the case. It is important not to confuse lug width with case width. To verify the correct measurement, use a digital calliper positioned exactly between the two attachment lugs.

Changing the strap on the MG-001122 is straightforward: use a spring bar tool to gently push the small elastic pin that holds the strap in place. Insert the tool tip into the small hole on the inside of the pin, push inward, and the pin will retract enough to remove the old strap. Align the new strap's holes with the lugs, then release the pin allowing it to snap into position. Perform the operation with care to avoid scratching the case.
