No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary attachment system: a standard strap simply cannot connect — it is physically impossible. The only option is a bespoke strap built directly from the watch itself. That is precisely what I do in the atelier.

I work through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment only, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case, and hand-shape the lugs to respect the original Hublot architecture. Nothing is done by eye — every millimetre matters.

For the Big Bang I choose Mississippi Alligator. The ceramic, resin and steel case has a strong, materially complex character: alligator holds its own against that visual weight without giving way. Vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather is a solid alternative if you want something more racing, more stripped back. It depends on how you wear the watch.

With minimal care — keeping it away from water and direct perspiration, letting it breathe — a quality leather strap will comfortably last five, even eight years. The leather ages and marks, but in the right way: it takes on the wrist of the person wearing it. That is not a flaw; it is what sets genuine leather apart from synthetic.

The exposed H-shaped screws are not merely aesthetic — they define the geometry of the attachment points and make every intervention more complex. The fusion of high-tech ceramic, steel and resin creates a case profile that tolerates no approximation. I have seen poorly fitted straps on these watches — it shows immediately and undermines the entire character of the piece.
