Strap for Big Bang 45 Ceramic / Blue

The Big Bang's lug system is an integral part of the case design and is not compatible with standard straight-bar straps. A bespoke strap, however, is entirely achievable: it is built directly on the client's watch by <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, following a precise measurement of the lug geometry and a fully hand-crafted construction process.

In the atelier, the craftsman analyses the lug geometry, exit angle and inner curve of the case directly on the client's watch. Only after this precise survey does the cutting, shaping and stitching begin, producing a strap tailored exactly to that specific piece. No adapters or generic templates are used: every step is artisanal and calibrated to that individual Big Bang.

The black ceramic and the commanding 44mm case call for leathers with strong texture and decisive colour. Mississippi alligator with square grain in anthracite or gloss black is the most coherent choice with the watch's material vocabulary. As an alternative, ostrich in slate grey introduces organic warmth without compromising the technical character of the piece.

A strap built from first-grade leather, double-layer construction and hand-stitched waxed thread can accompany the watch for many years, developing over time a personal patina that enriches its character. Longevity depends on the leather chosen, daily use and care: alligator or ostrich maintained with neutral products will outlast an industrially produced strap by a considerable margin.

The HUB4100 calibre is an in-house movement developed by Hublot, integrating a chronograph, small seconds and date in a construction that mirrors the Art of Fusion philosophy of the case. The in-house manufacture reflects the same design ambition as the case itself: every component is conceived to function as a system, not as a sum of off-the-shelf parts. This coherence between case and movement is precisely what justifies an equally considered, bespoke strap.
