Strap for Big Bang Original 44 Red Gold - Ceramic / Black / Rubber
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Hublot Big Bang 301.PB.131.RX is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Hublot Big Bang 301.PB.131.RX?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case and Hublot's patented H-shaped attachment system does not accept standard straps. There is no conventional lug to hook onto. In the atelier I build every strap directly on the watch, bespoke, with no approximations.
How does the bespoke strap process work for this Big Bang?
I work by appointment only at Casati Milano, in Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I bring the case to the bench and take measurements directly from the components, hand-shaping the inserts to respect the original tolerances. Remote work is not possible: this watch requires the piece to be physically present.
Which leather do I recommend for the Big Bang 301.PB.131.RX?
I prefer Full Black Tuscan leather with red fire contrast stitching. The character of this watch is built on industrial materials and sharp geometry — a structured, dark leather with a precise chromatic detail holds that tension without mimicking it. Alligator is elegant, but here it risks softening the overall feel too much.
How long does a well-made strap last on a watch like this?
With minimal care — keeping it away from prolonged water exposure and conditioning the leather every six months — a handmade strap lasts five, even eight years. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it changes, settles on the wrist, and develops a character that a factory strap will never achieve. It is an ageing that tells the story of use.
What makes the Big Bang such a complex engineering project to handle in the atelier?
The case is a layering of materials that do not speak the same language: carbon, ceramic, red gold and resin coexist in a modular structure. Each material has its own tolerance, its own response to heat and pressure. When I shape the inserts, I have to account for that complexity — I cannot work as if I had a monolithic steel case in front of me.
The next step
The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
