The lug width of the Furlan Marri 1022-B is 20mm. This width was selected to maintain balanced proportions between the 38mm case and the strap, ensuring aesthetic and functional integration. Always measure the lugs by placing a ruler from the inner edge of one lug to the other: the distance in millimetres is the correct measurement.

It depends on intended use. For constructive elegance, an alligator or calf leather in vegetable-tanning—dark blue or black—emphasises the sobriety of the stainless steel case. For versatility, a heavy canvas NATO in pearl grey permits rapid transitions between formal and informal contexts. For technical applications, a high-grade FKM rubber with fine grain guarantees durability beyond a decade. In all cases, a steel deployante clasp with safety lock is recommended.

Use a spring bar tool to depressurise the spring-loaded lug terminals. Position the tool in the lower lug hole and gently push upward to retract the spring. Once the terminal is freed, extract the old strap and insert the new one, aligning the lug holes. Ensure both spring terminals are correctly positioned before releasing pressure.
