The lug width of the Breitling Avenger A1337111/BC29/443X/A20BA.1 is 24 millimetres. This measurement is taken between the two lugs of the case and determines compatibility with all aftermarket straps. You can verify it using a digital calliper positioned internally between the lugs.

For this 48mm model, we recommend straps in alligator with vegetable tanning (black or cognac brown), structured calf for a formal aesthetic, or tactical NATO in nylon. Alligator offers understated elegance whilst maintaining the seriousness of the watch, whereas NATO intensifies the connection to the Avenger's military heritage. All straps must feature a 24mm lug width.

The strap is replaced by removing the springbars that connect the strap to the case lugs. Use a dedicated tool (spring bar tool) to compress the internal spring of the bar, extracting it from the lug. Insert the new strap in the same manner, ensuring the bar clicks firmly into both seats. This operation takes just a few minutes and requires no specialist technical knowledge.

Longevity depends on exposure to moisture, perspiration and climatic conditions.
