To verify the measurement, simply remove the original strap and measure the distance between the two attachment points using a digital calliper or rigid ruler.

The ideal strap depends on intended use: for business-casual contexts, Italian vegetable-tanned leather with natural patina enhances the design without compromising technical character; for water activities, vulcanised FKM rubber offers resistance to salt and UV rays; for daily versatility, thick cotton NATO allows quick changes and practicality. To change the strap, use a spring bar removal tool. Position the bifid end of the tool in the space between the lug and case, gently press to compress the internal spring of the pin, then extract the pin itself. Repeat on the opposite lug. Align the new strap holes with the lugs and reinsert the pins until an audible click is felt. The operation requires approximately two minutes and can be performed independently.
