Strap for Royal Oak Concept 26612 Tourbillon Chronograph Titanium

Not in the traditional sense. The bracelet is integrated into the case structure: a standard strap has no lug to attach to. The geometry is proprietary, designed by Audemars Piguet as an inseparable part of the overall design. In the atelier, I build the strap directly on the watch, to the millimetre.

I work by appointment only, at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I take the watch in hand, study the geometry of the integrated attachment and measure directly from the actual case — never from a technical sheet. Every component is shaped by hand, piece by piece, until the transition between titanium and leather is seamless.

I have a clear preference for Mississippi Alligator in dark tones — smoky black or anthracite. The character of this watch is architectural, almost industrial: titanium and ceramic do not call for softness, they call for structure. A leather with a pronounced grain and a matte finish answers that tension without clashing.

With quality leather and ordinary care, I count on at least five or six years of regular wear. Leather ages: it moulds to the wrist and develops a patina that tells the story of time passed. I recommend keeping it away from prolonged contact with water and letting it breathe between wears. A well-made strap does not deteriorate — it transforms.

Audemars Piguet used the Concept family as a testing ground for technical solutions and materials that had not yet found a place in standard production. Titanium and ceramic together, skeletonised construction, dimensions well beyond the Maison's traditional scale — choices that in any other context might have seemed excessive. I have seen many instrument watches come through the bench: this one has a design coherence you can read simply by looking at how the materials lock together.
