The bracelet is integrated into the case, with asymmetric proprietary attachments. A standard strap simply will not fit: the geometry is far too specific. I build each strap to measure, directly on the watch, in the atelier. There is no other viable approach.

I work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, study each attachment point millimetre by millimetre, and hand-shape the connectors on the actual case. No remote measurements, no templates — I need the watch physically in front of me.

I prefer extra-large scale Mississippi alligator, dyed in graphic tones — deep black or dark anthracite. The Concept has a deconstructivist, architectural character: a leather with strong visual structure holds its own without disappearing. Naturally aged Barenia is my second choice, for those who want a warm contrast against the white gold case.

With basic care — drying it after perspiration, avoiding repeatedly bending the same spot — a properly crafted strap lasts five, sometimes eight years. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it transforms. Alligator in particular becomes more personal over time, not simply older.

It is the line born in 2002 to push the Royal Oak's aesthetic beyond any formal boundary. The skeletonised case and exposed movement are not decorative details: they are the very structure of the watch, designed to be read as architecture. I have seen very few watches where mechanics and form speak to each other so directly.
